The only lens where you can't see your eyes is the mirrored lens, which is not "as dark" as typical mirrored glasses where you can't see in 100%. These you can probably still see in5-10% up close, but from a distance they probably can't see your eyes in that one lens (mirrored).

I have a average/slightly smaller head and I have been wearing them since I received them and they are still tight up behind the ear against my head. I’m hoping within time they will get better. I would say try it and see if you are comfortable with it or not. You can always return them if they don’t fit correctly to your liking.
