| Answer: | Search Ceramic Niche install video on YouTube. If you look closely before you start the video, you will notice a generous amount of clear silicone caulk on the inside of the opening. You want to bed the niche in the silicone but not have well out. Then I like to run a light bead on the front of the opening at the edge of the hole. You actually want to see very little silicone come out from the edge when you place the niche. After leveling and taping (aluminum tape), final neat silicone caulk the next day.
