Answer:	My wrist is 6 inches in circumference and it fits perfectly. I think it was designed to fit a woman's wrist but it can fit a fine-boned man's wrist with the fastwrap strap because my husband had a similar one with a fastwrap a few years ago. If your 8 year old's wrist is much smaller than 6 inches it will still grip but she might have a little lose end tab on the end of the strap to deal with.

Answer:	I would call them more of ankle socks (anklets) than crew socks. They work for me and are comfortable.

Question:	i wear a 7 3/8" baseball cap, do you think they are wide enough for me? i've always had an issue finding wide enough glasses
Answer:	I recommend waterproof insulated boots in addition to these socks for that environment. The socks must stay dry if you want them to work. I have personally not been outside in sub-freezing weather for more than 4 hours at a stretch, but my feet did not get cold wearing these socks and gore-tex boots. There was a lot of standing in one place, too, so I got little help from moving about. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I don’t know if you wash and dry, I tend only wash and hang to dry. It happen to me on another brand, learn my lesson. Something in the drying process degrades the socks.
