Answer:	I have been wearing the men's xl for cross-country skiing with no base glove. The gloves are very roomy. My wife normally wears either a women's l or xl. She put my Gordini mittens on and they were too big for her to grip ski pole handles safely.

Answer:	We have owned our two pairs (one for each kid) for at least three winters now. The kids can put them on easily now that they have had practice, and the durability is great! No tears or rips. They aren’t completely waterproof, but keep the kids hands really warm even if wet. It’s mostly after school when the wetness has set in that we even notice. I’m buying them each a second pair so we can alternate days and have dry mittens each day for school. Kids prefer these mittens best, and I think the quality is worth the $20 price tag.

Answer:	Maybe, probably not. It would probably be warm enough but most motorcycle gloves are gauntlet style so the wind doesn't go up your sleeve. So depending on how your jacket sleeve closes this may not work well at all. Also since it goes inside the jacket sleeve rain would be an issue.

Answer:	Yeah, you could cut out the liner for sure. I use a liner on colder days, say below 15 f. You might lose comfort in doing so, as the leather is rather thick and has prominent seams.

Are these machine washable and dryer safe

Answer:

They are gore-tex, so you should look up how to wash gore-tex. My understanding is that you can generally machine wash them but you gotta be careful with the detergent you use. You could probably tumble dry them, but I just use my boot dryer to dry them. Honestly, I've had them for two seasons now and never had the need to wash the outside glove, just the liner, which you can totally machine wash and put in the dryer in low heat. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I am average/medium women size. I just looked at mine and it says M/L. Fits perfect.
Question:	how durable is the palm? I need these for running the snowblower, which is really hard on mittens
Answer:	The palm is not leather. It is some kind of fake leather and isn't very thick. The stitching is a double row of stitching. They don't appear to be made for heavy work that would have a lot of abrasive activities against the palm like farm work. They seem to be made more for just maintaining warmth which they are exceptional at. My hands sweat inside of them. They do seem to run small. I ordered an extra-large pair which fit my hands perfectly. I do use a merino wool inserts to keep the moisture away from my hands but are unnecessary for warmth. For driving or walking these are exceptional. I have spent hours at a time in the inclement weather and have not had a problem yet. Even more amazing is that after I expose my bare hands to the severe, subfreezing weather, and then put them back in the gloves, my hands actually warm up again. No other gloves ever did this for me.
