Answer:	Depends on the watch. If you have one with a comfortable power reserve, setting 1 or 2 is probably enough. I have an skx007 with a 7s26 movement that loses time so I keep it on #3.

Answer:	I have had mine for about 2 years. It stopped working about 18 months in. Nice, quality but the mechanisms/electronics no longer work.

Answer:	Base on my calculation, I timed it myself and each rotates takes roughly about 8 second on my unit. No way it is 5 second. that's pretty fast. Mode 1,2,3 are pretty much the same, rotate 2 minutes and rest for 6 minutes. let say 8 seconds per turn, 2 minutes (160 seconds) will be 15 turns and it rest for 6 minutes. Which means 15 turns in 8 minutes. One hour (60 minutes) will be 112.5 turns. So, in a day it will be 24 hours X 112.5 which is roughly 2700 turns. That is way too much according to the recommendation.. http://orbita.com/2010_web/NEW/Database-S.htm My Seiko needs about 500 - 950 TPD. Mode 4 is rotate for 3 hours and then rest for 9 hours. 3 hours (60 mins x 3) = 180 minutes. My unit is 7.5 turns per minute. That's insane 1350 turns in 3 hours. Way too much. I wish they could have done some research before setting these timers. What I end up doing was using a timer myself and set it to a maximum of 8 hour per day. Using Mode 3. CW and CCW. Turn for 2 minutes and Rest for 6. If my math is correct, 8 hours will give me about 900 turns. Will see how it goes. Hope this help..

Trouble Shooting Steps: All WOLF winders are designed to have cycles rest between its winding cycles to ensure that the proper amount of tension is placed on the main spring of your watch. All watch cycles will take approximately 6 hours of winding and rest, and then will go into a 18 hour sleep phase before returning back to the winding cycles. When placing the cuff inside of the drum, please ensure that the watch strap is fastened securely so that the watch does not sway back and forth during its winding. Once you place the cuff inside of the drum, you will hear a clicking noise that will indicate when each side of the cuff is locked into the drum. Answer:	If Rolex says 600 TPD then I would get winder that turns 600 TPD. Try a wolf winder - have had it for awhile and is fantastic - and has correct adjustable settings - have used it for all my Rolex watches !! Which is easier to replace your Rolex or your winder ??

Answer:	I have never been patient enough to time the length of rotation, but it does stop. If you need to know, email Wolf, I'm sure they will have the answer.

Answer:	I think it would work better laying down, glass up. Less resistance on the motor and gears.
Question:	Just got this. Is the green light supposed to flash every two seconds constantly (not intermittent)? Both lights do this
Answer:	As long as you have the individual unit turned on the green light will flash every two seconds. If you turn one of the units off, the light will not flash, Based on the picture I see, your unit, like mine, does not have a red LED so disregard any info about a red LED
Question:	Does it fit IWC portugieser which is thick and large
Answer:	I have not tried that watch in particular, but the way watches are placed into it would make me think any watch that fits on a wrist will fit. The face area is quite large, and the holder is made of compressible foam, so you compress the foam and slip the closed band over it, face outward. So thickness should not matter (compresses in that dimension).
