Answer:	depends how much weather your item sees. with my brushed leather work shoes I think I applied it twice in 30 days (just to make sure) in the fall,then once again in the spring. I run deliveries for a local bakery in western N.Y. state so I am out in all kinds of rain and puddles and mud. I wear serious boots in the winter so these shoes don't see snow deeper than two inches and in summer I wear gym shoes. this stuff is terrific! and by the way,I used it on the gym shoes twice as well and it's still working great! really good stuff! Answer:	I can't say 100% that it's okay since I don't own a pair but it shouldn't discolor your boots or anything as long as you don't overspray one spot. Move back and fourth consistently and wait 1-2 hours before adding another coat so it has time to dry. It hasn't discolored any of my shoes which includes a pair of suede material shoes!

So, I put ONE 'SCANT' coat of white WAX, KIWI shoe polish over this 'waterproofing' & that worked great, making them as white as B4...Even 3 years later, I can't believe how good they still look. Living in SE Pennsylvania, I have worn them thru MANY DOWNPOURS/snowstorms/while cleaning snow off my car...even when I've, unintentionally, stepped in water puddles...stm…also at several sporting events, concerts etc. & my feet stay dry as can be! BTW, I haven't reapplied the Kiwi Waterproofing since I first got them, but I have reapplied the white shoe polish, after using a diluted REGULAR Dawn/warm water solution & a soft, microfiber cloth to gently clean & allowing them to dry completely...to keep them looking good, for as long as possible...& only notice 'dirt' & VERY SMALL amount of the white polish on the cloth, that easily washes off the cloth, so that tells me I'm not 'washing off/effecting' the original coats of waterproofing...A lot is still left in the can, but since it is 3+ yrs old, just getting a new can, for when I find a new pair of boots I'm looking for & sharing with Friends...MUCH cheaper for same amount, here @ AMAZON than I paid at a shoe store (price sticker still on it) & saw your question/concern. Question:	Will this protector change the color of my navy blue suede boots? Will it make them look darker
Answer:	Absolutely not. I bring my boots/shoes upside and thoroughly spray the entire . I’ve never had damage happen. I think caution is warranted anytime you use a treatment on your products. But I’ve never had any issues.
Question:	Can I use this spray on tanned leather too
Answer:	Yes, you can use Kiwi suede cleaner or suede protectant on any color suede shoe. The shoe well darken slightly when first sprayed on because of spray moisture but it will dry to original color and suede or nubuck condition.

Question:	Aside from leather, I saw that this product can be use on canvas material. Is this possible
Answer:	I spray it all over my canvas & vachetta bags.
Question:	Has anyone use this to protect their "struck" tieks, ie: starstuck,love potion, moonstruck , lovestruck etc. and how did it turn out
Answer:	That’s what I bought this for!! Turned out great. Make sure you protect inside shoes with tissue so spray doesn’t get inside. I did mine on a cardboard surface. Outside when our weather was nice 👍
Question:	Would this product darken the leather? l have a very bright blue leather bag and would love to protect it but wouldnt wanna compromise its color
Answer:	Personally i have used this product on my Chanel bags which have been black , gray and red . When wet I would notice slightly darker color , but after it dries I see no color difference. I lightly spayed because of the same feeling of color change, but so far so good ! I’ve also used on my silver sandals and there was no color change at all. I bought to protect the leather from color transfer, rain and dirt . Good luck 👍
