| Answer: | Hi charlesmcbride. As with the other styles similar to this one, my biggest concern is getting the tree into the foot of the boot. If the leg of the boot is wide, then it may work. A snug fit works best for keep shape, but that snug fit usually means working the shoe tree into the shoe, which makes them best suited to loafers, athletic, and dress shoes. Still, that doesn't mean it won't work for the boot! Just that it might be harder to get in and out of the boot. Be sure to check your size against the size chart on the page to get the best fit possible! |

Per usual, try a small amount in an inconspicuous area to test it, or use an old pair to test this on that you haven't got around to getting rid of yet. |

I mounted mine on a piece of 2"x4" (lengthwise, about 16" long) and buried it right by the concrete on the driveway close the house. I painted the entire thing with clear lacquer (spray paint) so the weather wouldn't deteriorate it. It works great! |
