Answer:	I bought the men's size for my shoe. In your case, since your shoe size is at the upper limits of the 5.5-9 stretcher, I would go with the men's blue ones. It will give you a better range of adjustment. That is just my opinion and that's all. I do know my stretchers worked just as advertised. I had a pair of sneakers that bothered my little toe on my right foot, Used the stretcher with the little black adaptor placed in that area, left over night, and no more problems. Answer:	Yes, it will work with high heels. You might have to screw the lengthener screws up to the top, however.

Answer:	NO!!! These definitely do not work in a boot or any shoe that goes above a loafer!!!!! Look at them! They only work with the black tab in the middle being up against the heel.... as you can see the silver lever is too long to go inside anything. I made the mistake of ordering these by reading the person on said they would work in boots. I am not sure what they are smoking but unless they have size 15 boots - THESE ARE STRICTLY FOR OPEN LOAFER SHOES. Period. Thanks for the bad advise boot person!

Answer:	This is only meant to do width. There is no way to do length.

Answer:	It can be for both. But I don't recommend this shoe stretcher because it doesn't last that long. I only used mine like 5 times and the little plastic adjuster inside worn out right away. You're better off buying a stretcher that's a little more pricey and more durable.

Answer:	just my opinion, but I don't think so. To use the stretcher you need to turn the metal part,it opens to stretch the toe part. Its easy to do it with shoes but i think it would be hard to do it with a boot.

Answer:	There is no way to stretch length - it can't be done. Always buy the right length and then stretch width if need be. Also, be aware that any stitching across the area of leather you want stretched will reduce the amount of stretch possible by a lot. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I wondered the same thing at first! I found the solution when I watch the related video. I put it on the top of stretcher and while holding it, inserted the whole piece in the boot, then proceeded with the tightening. Not the easiest way but it worked.
