Answer:	Short answer: I don't know, probably??? Longer response: I've had my Yaktrax for 2-3 months and the metal has held up pretty well. I walk about 2.0-3.0 miles daily with them when needed. Mostly over concrete and asphalt cover with snow and ice. From this I think the metal is fairly strong. Limestone is, I believe, a fairly soft rock and easily scratched. If a person had a nice limestone walkway they didn't want scratched, I'd be cautions. That being said, me personally, I'd rather have solid footing and not falling with a potentially scratched walkway than a great walkway I can not walk on due an injury from a fall. Also I imagine its hard to properly remove snow/ice from a limestone walkway unless it is very smooth. In this case I'd guess there would be snow/ice in between the Yaktrax and limestone.
Question:	Will Yaktrax scratch a limestone walkway
Answer:	I still have the box, and there is a chart on the box. It says US Women's sizes 6.5-10 should order a size small. They stretch. Just be aware there is a wrong way to put them on. On end says "toe." The other end says "Heel". I lost one of my original pair because I put it on backwards, and it must have fallen off while I was walking. Hope this helps.

Having the cleats on would lessen the feeling and control that you have on the gas and break pedal. Also, since the cleats are not flat (they have the spikes), using them while driving could result in you slipping of the pedal and doing something you didn't want to do.Since they can be quickly pulled over your shoes/boots, we would recommend removing them before driving and then pulling them back on when you are ready to leave the car.I hope this helps. Answer:	Yes, they would create some noise but you should slip them off when you are not on snow or ice.

I needed to use them, so I did it this way, and found that I don't really need to pay attention to which one might be left or right - they work for both.

Answer:	Ummm, I would never run on ice, can't imagine why anyone would, but if you choose to, make sure they are on tight. The only issue I have with them is they can get stretched out and come off at inopportune times.

Answer:	Yes, I recommend it for any age. Just make sure to REMOVE them when you go inside or on a clear surface, as they will be slippery on normal surfaces. ONLY for use in snow/ice.

Answer:	I wear a Women's size 8. The manufacturer sizing information on the box, says for U.S. Women's Size 8, get a SMALL YakTrax. I have KEEN winter boots,size 8 medium. Keen's winter boot have a substantial heavy sole. There is no way that I can stretch the YakTrax Size S onto the KEEN boots. A medium would fit (but I haven't tried yet). The YakTrax SMALL just barely fits over a pair of "fashionable" winter boots, size 8, that have a dainty-sized,or thin sole. I suggest that you take your boots into a store and fit the YakTrax on before purchasing. If the stretch is too tight, you'll know right away (it'll strip off your nail polish and split a nail or two attempting). Be careful during the stretch 'cause it's like a sling shot! It can take an eye out! :) You want a YakTrax size that's easy enough to take off when you go indoors because on stone floors, these are slippery and on carpet, they will rip up the carpet. The manufacturer sizing information is misleading.

Answer:	Get the large, they stretch well over work boots, just have to pull to fit. The rubber ring is well made, I have had no issues with mine and I use them on both shoes and snow boots.

Answer:	I'm sure they could. I will tell you though that I am a school bus driver and we are required to wear grippers in the bus yard. I bought these and they didn't last me 2 months. I only used them to walk on the pavement into work and across the icy bus lot. I was sorely disappointed when the rubber shredded and they literally fell apart.

Answer:	That's my same situation. I walk to work and the first stretch from my house is facing North & the woods, gravel road, then a very icy set of a couple blocks also on the North. The rest is always mixed. Some parts are completely clear so I have to walk on concrete a while. Intersections are icy so I can't risk taking them off. 3 years ago I fell and broke my wrist when one of my Yaktax broke and the coils got stuck on the gravel. The coil ones were the first kind I ever used and they wrre life savers. Needed to get a couple of pairs to make through the winter because they deteriorated quickly walking on sections of concrete. tried the cleat type and they were useless ad dulled quickly. This diamond grip are the best. Only one pair per winter. I replaced last year's because the rubber frame started to look a bit weak on some joints. They are good to be worn around the house while shoveling but not for a long walk. The new ones should make ot through the whole winter even with all the walking I do. I do not remove them from my boots to try to extend the life of the rubber. I change shoes when I get to work and put them upside down so they dry well. They can rust easily if you leave them wet on the ground.

Question:	This is a 'pair' correct
Answer:	A large would fit your shoe perfectly (I wear the same size) since the frame of the cleat is rubberized and designed to stretch up to a men's size 11 or 12. This cleat is easily placed by stretching the frame from toe to heal and removal is just reversing the process. If you prefer another "easy on/easy off" cleat, I would also recommend the strap cleat that wraps around the ball of the shoe and is secured with velcro.

Answer:	It was a workout trying to get the S/M ones on a pair of size 6, and I didn't succeed. I honestly don't know how others have succeeded.

Answer:	yes! you can definitely wear these while running on roads/pavement. I wear them all winter. they will save you from slipping when you run across an icy patch but they are perfectly OK to wear on the dry pavement. if I know my route will have a mix of ice and clear pavement, I wear them so I don't have to worry. after 1 hour or so you might start to feel them under your feet; make sure they are positioned correctly. I wear pretty sturdy traditional running shoes. with a more flexible / light weight shoe you might feel them more. but I consider them a winter outdoor running lifesaver! just wore them today for 10 miles on mixed surfaces but mostly road.
Question:	Can these be worn when running on residential roads (concrete/pavement)? Or is this more of a trail running product
Answer:	Not 100% sure. I originally thought that they were for securing them to the shoe somehow. But if they are, I can't figure it out. How I personally use the strap is to attach the muddy spikes to my backpack while I am not using them on the hike. When I get home, I clean the spikes, dry them and then put them back in their carry bag. This may or may not be the strap's true purpose but it's working for me.

Question:	What size should I get for mens
Answer:	I've worn many different ice/snow cleats before and found that none are very good on really glare ice. Think of it as walking on a tile floor with metal spikes. However, if the spikes can kind of get into the ice most cleats work well.
Question:	Will these work on an unsalted icy hill? i ride the bus and walk. no car. most people in my area dont salt sidewalks. good for regular use
Answer:	I would go with large. The straps secure them if they're a little loose but putting them on your boots can be difficult if they're a little small. The boot style can make a difference too. I have some boots with a Norwegian welt rather than the more common molded soles and the welt makes for a larger footprint than a molded sole in the same size boot.
