Answer:	I have 2 connected to a nightowl 8 camera system, 1 on the front door of my house, and another on the back door of my house. I have a lot of experience with sound, and technology, and microphone placements. Eventhough these microphones are recommended for indoor purposes only, I took into consideration their placements outdoors to enhance my houses total security, and the safety of the microphones themselves. In my opinion, the sound quality is typical, and accurate as stated. Your not going to get 11.2 surround sound out of them, but you can hear and record whispers from 30-40 feet away, clearly. Wind noise can be a huge problem, so installation location is very important. When installed, I took all that into consideration and have benefited from it. Just mounting these very sensitive mics anywhere will produce just that... Anything. Careful consideration of microphone location is a MUST! I would give these mics a 7 out of 10 for performance.
Question:	Is there a way to order one with a fingerprint and words on one side and 3 lines of words on the other
Answer:	Recheck your cable connection. If Nightowl products have any issues it's with the thin, cheap, cables that they use. I always purchase aftermarket thicker cables and run them instead of what's supplied with any nightowl system.

It came in a clear baggie inside other packaging. It still makes for a wonderful gift but it's not gift wrapped. You might be able to add gift option from Amazon but that is an extra fee. I personally would get it delivered to myself and then put it in a card and mail it...its light weight...I don't think it would cost more than a stamp plus the card...would add a personal touch to a great little gift :)
