Answer:	My son is 6 years old and has learned to plan and build simple circuits. He still hasn't soldered by himself, though I have no doubts that he knows what to do. However, supervision is the key. So, if your asking for what age this kit is appropriate, I'd say any age -so long as the person can read and comprehend arithmetic (and so long as the parents are responsible enough to be raising children in the first place). If the person is left to their own devices, then I would suggest no younger than 12. Who knows, getting a child this kit might spark their interest in circuits and electronics, while provoking them to seek out the tools and knowledge needed to push electrons through these components.

Answer:	Monitor the vents in general. Only allow access to rooms you NEED. I purchased these in hopes to trick my hallway thermostat... it totally worked and along with vent control I now only cool my room and the hall that access’ the thermostat (this allows for the air to only be distributed amongst rooms I actually use).I have also found that even if I reduce the flow of air (like you’ve expressed regarding your sofa) it’s cut the air time down SIGNIFICANTLY. Cool the parts of the house you need and sweat cleanse in the others. These $5 vent covers will change your home life as well as your outward perspective of consumption and conservation. And hopefully your electric bill!
