Answer:	Quiet,no ticking sound.
Question:	How long does the battery last
Answer:	Only if exposed to light and the "glow" does not last very long. It is not internally illuminated like a Luminox watch that has tritium insets that provide long term luminescence (10-25 years). This Victorinox watch uses phosphorescent markers which must be "charged" by a light source but even when charged by a bright light the "glow" is rather short term... several hours at best. Even so, I love the watch. However, if you are in dark conditions consistently and want a watch that you can tell the time easily in those conditions go with a Luminox watch... there are also several other brands that use tritium insets but Luminox is the "name" in the industry. I have a Luminox that is close to 12 years old and it still illuminates just fine... not quite as bright as when it was brand new but still very easy to tell the time in a dark environment.

Answer:	18mm distance between lugs. Any band except some very thick ones,like rubbery dive bands,should fit. There's not a lot of space between the body & the spring bars. If you would like to use a NATO type strap,get a thin one. Standard spring bars,that come with the watch,are 1.8mm thick. Getting a pair that's 1.6mm thick will make using a NATO strap easier,you can find these easily on Amazon

Answer:	Yes, it is absolutely vegan. So much so that when I tried to feed it anything I ate, it refused to eat at all and nearly starved to death. I relented and am now feeding it its preferred snotty diet, so it works perfectly. But here's the problem: feeding this thing its vegan diet costs me more per month than the watch did in the first place. Even so, it is friendly, conversational, and absolutely loyal, which is more than I can say for any of my family members or friends. It never steals the covers in bed, puts on its own seatbelt in the car, and generously gave me a cement mixer for my last birthday. I couldn't ask for more.

Automatic watches do not operate on batteries. Automatic watches are made up of about 130 or more parts that work together to tell time. Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Answer:	Search "Invicta Link Removal" on You Tube. There are many videos, some are better than others. Pay attention to the direction of the arrows on the bracelet links.

Answer:	They are pretty much the same watch and both have an Automatic Seiko movement (NH35A). The only difference I have found is the 8926OB face is more similar to the Rolex Submariner, with tabs instead of dots at the 3, 6 and 9 positions. Also, the loupe over the date window is slightly more powerful on the 8926OB, making it easier to read the date. I have both watches and prefer the 8926OB!
Question:	Can enough links be removed to accommodate a 6.5" (approx.) wrist
Answer:	Yes. I have a 6.25" wrist, and had to remove all but one link. So for a 6.5" wrist, removing all but 2 should be fine. The respondent above who said the links are graduated in size is mistaken. All the _removable_ links are the same size.

Answer:	The 8926OB has straight indicese at 6 and 9 while the 17044 has round ones. The band width on the 8926 is 20mm while 18mm on the 17044. The case thickness on the 8926 is 11mm while 14mm on the 17044.17044 is a newer model (jan 2014) and the 8926OB is 2006 (with a new version in 2011). Also, the 17044 lists a "stopwatch" as a special feature.

Three quick pushes of the pusher will cause the white LED light to strobe (150 pulse/min.) for 2 minutes. To deactivate prior 2 minutes, press pusher once.
