Question:	Can someone tell me how large this watch is? See i have a small and thin wrist and i would like to know in case the item looks rather huge on my wrist
Answer:	I have never tried or have I had the need to change the strap/spring. Since I am being asked about this watch, over the past few months the compass has become 100% unreliable. Despite numerous attempts to re-calibration that particular feature is no longer considered as functional. Results are consistently inaccurate by the limit of error.

Answer:	The watch has an alarm function but is very hard to read it's very dim.. there is very very very dim light on the face not bight enough... I send it back

Answer:	Works flawlessly. Needs periodic re-calibration to ensure it stays accurate. 1year + and counting no problems there.In fact we did the calculation for triangulating a position using the watch compass and then compared the results to the mapto see how accurate we will get. The results of the triangulation calculation surprised because on the distance approximately 350 metersthe map was giving us 356 m and the calculation performed using the compass in less than ideal situation surrounded by various magnetic fields gave us 336m this is an inaccuracy in calculation of only 5.6% - very impressive. This is considering that we have estimated distanceused for one side of the triangle! When we decided to use the distance between two distant known objects and therefore it was an exact knowndistance used we obtained 1% to 2% accuracy! So for e.g. on the distance 25km it was 250-500m inaccuracy, ok but this is a very long distance believe me! On the short distances 1.3-1.4km it was 13 to 25 meters inaccuracy only! The result we can say - yes the compass is very good in this watch but user needs to apply common sense and periodically check if the compass ok, within the specs and use calibration then if required. Very simple and short procedure though. I am sure that other brands also have similar requirement to calibrate the compass.

Question:	Does this watch have a great compass,a good one, or none at all? I bought it for my son for Christmas the compass is an important feature for him
Answer:	Good Compass but not great Hold down on one of the buttons and the watch face becomes a compass. It shows the degrees (0-360) and the general direction (SE for example). You would not use this watch to plot a course on a map. For that, you can buy a compass for less than $20 that lie flat on a map, can be adjusted for a magnetic correction, they have lines, etc.

Suunto was founded in 1936 by outdoors man and a keen orienteering enthusiast, Tuomas Vohlonen, who had long been bothered by a problem: the inaccuracy of traditional dry compasses and their lack of steady needle operation. Question:	what size wrist does the standard black rubber strap fit
Answer:	My wrist is ~8.5", maybe a little more. The Vector band fits my wrist on the last hole. There is not enough band left to fit into the sleeve intended to secure the end of the band. The Core band is about 3/4" longer.

Answer:	I have been researching the Suunto Core All Black to find the best price for purchase. One of the key features needed is an alarm clock, but I could not find any definitive information as to whether it had one or not. Even the Suunto website and manual was not very cut and dry with an answer. I contacted Suunto customer service and asked about this function (pf which they responded in the affirmative), but I also asked the comment made here stating Amazon purchases are not honored via warranty. Suunto stated this is COMPLETELY FALSE! Amazon IS an authorized reseller. You need only keep your receipt. Finally have this issue/question clearly and easily resolved after so many guesses since 2013!

Answer:	That is actually a tool to help you keep track of time before digital watches came about. You turn the dial to where the second of the minute is as your 0 second reference point instead of 12. And then you can see how long you've been down since then. This helps you keep track of bottom time and when you should surface. Look up a video online and it will make more sense. Obviously the other people that answered have no idea what they are talking about and no watch company puts that on a diving watch to "play with" or look like a classic dive watch.. it's a crucial tool

Answer:	The casio site shows the weight as 62g. That's just a number. Qualitatively this is the smallest, lightest triple sensor casio I have seen. I had a PAW2000 - the previous generation - which was getting pretty tired and beaten up.. When I read the specs of the PRW3000 I was skeptical because there is no single parameter that is much smaller. I can tell you, though, when you hold the two side by side it is striking how all those little parameters add up to a huge perception of a much smaller watch. No regrets with this purchase.
Question:	Does the altimeter function aboard aircraft
Answer:	The only correct answer to this is maybe. On a commercial passenger aircraft it won't work. The cabin is pressurized to simulate 8,00ft so, that's what the altimeter on this watch will read. On a small personal aircraft that isn't pressurized, it will read the correct altitude assuming you've set the watch properly.
