I've worn it during climbs up multiple 14,000+ ft peaks, subfreezing weekend camp outs, a week-long backpacking trek in the Grand Canyon, and several games of kickball. Question:	Will this fit an 8-year old with a small wrist? Is it designed for kids
Answer:	My wrist is 6 inches in circumference and it fits perfectly. I think it was designed to fit a woman's wrist but it can fit a fine-boned man's wrist with the fastwrap strap because my husband had a similar one with a fastwrap a few years ago. If your 8 year old's wrist is much smaller than 6 inches it will still grip but she might have a little lose end tab on the end of the strap to deal with.
