Answer:	The depth the watch can go to may be safe at scuba diving levels, but that alone does not make it suitable for diving. Scuba diving watches have very specific dials for timing and depth etc. that this watch does not have, therefore making it unsuitable for diving. On the other hand, I would still not trust any watch that is not an actual scuba diving watch at anything below, or even far above surface activity. In other words, if you want it to last, don't wear it in water or high elevations where you may perspire.

I am not sure when the pro diver was introduced but, have seen you tube reviews on this watch as far back as 2010. They are great watches in automatic or quartz and can go over a decade without service minus the batteries in the quartz which last about 30 months.

Bear in mind, however, that you ONLY have to do this 5 times in any year, on the first days of the months of March, May, July, October, and December. That's only slightly more than twice as often as you have to adjust your watch for the counterproductive idiocy that is DST. I have a day/date watch and it takes me literally about 3 to 5 seconds to do this task. I have now spent several years' worth of adjusting the date on my watch explaining this, just to give you an idea how long it DOESN'T take to adjust it. I've tried perpetual calendar watches, BTW... the complexity and extra cost make the adjustable kind preferable, IMHO. Perpetuals are not worth the expense. If you want to save $$$s, and you can't spend the... half a minute each year correcting the date, my recommendation is lay out the CASH to buy an expensive, complex, difficult to set, (comparatively) perpetual calendar watch, OR... just buy a nice, cheap digital one. But in answer to your question, yeah, this watch appears to require the 5x/year date adjustment. Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Bold black and gold features on the Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection GMT Black Dial Black Polyurethane Watch make it an excellent fashion accessory for the athletic man. A black sunray dial has silver-tone dot indices to mark the hours and an unconventional, cool circle subdial to track them. A subdial at three o'clock displays date information. The stylish display uses Swiss quartz movement to keep precise time, and the dial is protected by a scratch-resistant mineral crystal. Cool features can be found on the unidirectional black stainless steel bezel, marked with silver-tone Arabic numerals in increments of 10. The case is a robust design in gold-tone stainless steel and connects with a modern polyurethane black and gold-tone wrist band that uses a buckle clasp to stay comfortably around your wrist. The watch is presented with a yellow gift box and is water resistant to 330 feet (100 meters).
