The many holes will keep the soil more on the dry side compared to similar size pots. As a general rule, a larger pot will be moist longer periods and keep the plant stress to a minimum for your herbs. I would recommend the stacking pots like the three from Nancy for herbs (on Amazon) or a rectangular window box.

I'd say send it back, but you run the risk of the plant being unable to survive the journey again...I've had situations like yours happen to me before, but I've been able to revive the plant. I too, ordered this plant. In fact, I bought 2. They're doing great. The first 6 months, pamper the plant so that the roots become established (I use a water soluble 6-30-30 fertilizer, along with bone meal mixed in with the dirt.) Question:	What’s the difference between 12 w and 12d (m ) sizes
Answer:	If anything they are slightly bigger. I always were a size 13 sneaker but my 13 boots are a bit loose. I probably should have gone with a 12 but I make due. I wear very thick socks and it makes up for it. I would recommend going to a store so that you can actually try them on.

Answer:	These boots are already conditioned, but it is good to condition your leather work boots when needed. I oil mine about once a month.

Answer:	They are waterproof. I'm a commercial flat roofer and I walk in 2-4 inches of water frequently. Have never had water get inside.

Answer:	Not so good. These are not winter boots. I'm a commercial flat roofer in Michigan and I work year around. Below 15 degrees and my toes are cold but tolerable. Below 5 degrees and I have to change them out to my Cabelas Predators. Very tough boot though. I've beat them up hard all winter long and they barely feel broken in. I put 10 to 12 hours a day on them and I'm very happy. Buy the inserts/insoles and thank me later.
