Question:	Is this boot steel toe
Answer:	Yes. I do that with my Keens all the time. I have always worn the Targhee but just bought these for the first time. The people who recommend the Merrell Chameleon and say these aren't "slip ons" don't understand what you are asking; I do. I just bought these and wore them for the first time yesterday. When getting ready for bed, I slipped them off in the closet and this morning I was able to slip them back on fine. I push my foot as far forward as I can get it before attempting to slip the heel down. Once they're on, I bump the toe and then the heel against the floor to even out my socks. These work fine.
Question:	Why doesn't the Targhee 2 Mid WP Hiking Boot come in wide sizes like the Targhee 2 Mid Boot? Is there any diff in WP capabilities between the two
Answer:	I wear a 15 2e to 15 4e athletic shoes (Nike, Adidas, Rebock, New Balance). Keens tend to run wide. I bought them in a 15D and the fit perfectly. With my Keen hiking boots I went with a 2e so that I can utalize wool socks in the winter months.
Question:	Has anyone had a problem with these boots not being waterproof
Answer:	Either gender can wear any style of shoe as long as it iis comfortable. As a general rule to fitting, women will "size down" 1-1.5 sizes when converting to a man's size. However, a men's medium (which most Keen products are in width) fit closer to a woman's wide width. For example, I wear a women's 10W ; and I convert to a men's size 8.5or 9 M. The similar style in a woman's shoe by Keen is called "Presidio".

Answer:	8 1/2 inches. They are shorter than what I was wanting, but couldn't find the darker tan in the longer size. They are definitely more of a high ankle/low shin boot.

Answer:	I don't have a wide foot, I guess just average foot size, they fit me well, but I did get a half size larger than normal because I wear two pair of socks in the winter, I work outside. Although not necessary for these warm boots. If you look at the boot, the laces don't come down far like a sneaker, they fit snug, they are not wide in that area of the foot. I love the boots they are good for me, but if you have a wide foot, see if they have wide size. I hope I have helped a little.

Answer:	The soles are glued and stitched in. You can also can easily take the cushion out and add another in it. It's a nicely crafted shoe that is water resistant and comfortable. I wore them in the snow and they kept my feet dry and warm. They also have good tread to prevent a lot of slidding.
Question:	What is the actual weight of these shoes
Answer:	Weight is subjective...depends on size. I wear size 14 and I'm sure they weight twice as much as a small mans size. I shopped in a store before buying and compared these to a number of other brands and they are among the lighter weight boots among of the better brands. I found some inexpensive brands that were much lighter but not very good quality. They are not so heavy as to feel weighted. They are not as stiff as I anticipated them to be either.
