I had nothing better to do this afternoon, so I went ahead and did some research on your behalf, to help answer your question. My findings were enlightening - It appears that canvas, by nature, is not necessarily “waterproof” per se, but a few rain drops won’t cause it to dissolve! That said,I wouldn’t take with you 14 feet below the ocean on your next scuba diving trip... as your socks may get wet. Answer:	I'm 6ft 4in and an athletic 310 and 48 inch chest and 38 inch arms (dress shirt size). The 3 xl fits me perfect. Slightly snug around the body and sleeves fit bigger (diameter) around my arms. Length is good in the body and sleeves. Hope that gives you a better baseline comparison for choosing yours.
