If you're planning to be out in extreme temperatures, then you need a clothing system like the military’s extreme cold weather clothing system, or ECWCS. This Tru-Spec H2O parka is the exterior layer of the ECWCS system, a weather-proof barrier.
This parka has a special three-layer construction with micropores that provides waterproof, windproof insulation and protection against the elements while allowing ventilation and evaporation designed to help keep you from overheating during exertion or getting cold and clammy afterwards. The result is a surprisingly light weight jacket that is excellent for keeping you warm, especially if you go from active to inactive and vice versa.

| Answer: | So, Ive tested a few of their pants. Returned some and kept others. Best way I can describe is; the 24/7 line is more for everyday use. Specifically, the Ascent are one of the most mist comfortable utility pants I've ever worn. They are lightweight and material is thinner but not cheap. Makes them great for summer/ warmer weather. Probably not great for colder winters. In the 24/7 line, I only have the Ascent pants. I tried other 24/7 pants like xpedition, but found the ascent to be far more comfortable or better fitting. However, ymmv. The ascent are only available in solid colors. If by tactical, you mean their T.R.U. uniform line, those are more "professional/field" use. Heavy duty military fatigues. Those come in solids and various cammo. I would suggest doing what I did... order one from each series to see what you like best. The ones you dont return. Returns super easy w/ amazon |

| Answer: | To determine the exact difference between a size 7 and 7 1/2 you just need to look at a hat size chart. When I ordered mine I used the chart, measured my head and ordered the indicated size which was a 7 1/4. Inside the hat in addition to laundering instructions is a statement which says "CAUTION: initial loose fit is necessary for continued comfort". I would describe the fit of my hat is slightly loose which for me works just fine and I would definitely order the same size again. If your hat is truly only a "little" big it's probably just right. If it slides down to your eyes I'd get the next size smaller. |

| Answer: | If u wear them regulation style get short, if its for personal use get a regular length. Be advised tho these do run long! I'm 72" and the regular was long on me...I exchanged for a short and am very happy with that switch. |

| Answer: | Mine did not, the legs and waist could have been a little smaller so I did a hot wash with too much powder. All the things you are not meant to do in case things shrink. But alas no shrinkage, I just had to eat more. ;) |
