There's a trade off in the filter world between small particle capture (MERV ratings) and spending more money with disposable high quality pleats and saving a ton of money over time by using a washable style filter. You can't have both and if you could, the entire filter industry would be full of washable permanent filters with great small particle capture. But as we all know and see, that is not the case. Washables can work well if you buy a high quality version that does not have a simple white polyester pad inside that costs the manufacturer about 5 cents. There's a lot of scammers out there and false claims when it comes to washable filters. If you find any washable filter manufacturer or seller that claims a MERV rating on their washable filter, simply ask them for the official Independent Laboratory Test report which shows the Laboratory Name, Phone number, Test Number and it will show the results in the 3 particle size categories called E1, E2 and E3. If they don't give you that, they are scamming you if claiming a MERV rating on their washable filter! Some companies even out out, send customers that ask a misleading sheet from their own parent company (so it fools you with a different name) and makes it look official, but has none of the criteria described above that a REAL MERV test will have. Please note to get the largest dimension offered 24x30 you must select 23" x 29" and then set the fraction selection to 1" for both height and width. Answer:	With proper care and maintenance, these filters will last 15-20 years. Typically, they will outlast your furnace with the high grade foam. No need to ever replace the filter media and it will not wear down with simple flushing out with water.
Question:	Where are they made
Answer:	Simply use your sink sprayer, or light spray from a garden hose. Some people like to use their removable shower head sprayer and clean it in the bathtub, this makes it super easy to wash away the dirt very fast and gives you an easy drain for the dirt to wash away. (This method is nice for those of us that have to live through cold winters and our garden hoses are frozen up!) If the filter is super dirty and you want to ensure a super clean, you can always just mix a bowl or pitcher of warm water with a little squirt of mild dish soap and pour it all over the filter. Then, just rinse away the soapy water with clean fresh water. No harsh chemicals or bleaches are needed and may damage the filter. Water is fine and maybe a little dish soap water if you want….that is all that is needed! Set the filter up on end so that one of the corners is pointed downward and allow to drip-dry for about 10 to 15 minutes and it’s ready to reinstall back into the unit. (Even if the filter is still slightly damp, that is fine, your unit will finish drying the filter within just 1 or two cycles of running the air across the filter.)

Answer:	These filters have some of the lowest air flow restriction in the industry. The pressure drop rating on these is 0.08" w.g. To give you a comparison, a typical pleated style disposable filter starts at about 0.20 restriction. That means these filters are less than 1/2 as restrictive as a typical disposable filter.
