Answer:	Bolt cutters, etc can cut the chain or cable off. The thief cout hook the trailer to there truch an just pull it away. This lock fits inside the hitch and is all steel. I have one on my travel trailer even if I am in a spot at a camp ground or when I have it at home. I was very impressed with it when I bought it and am still impressed.

Answer:	I found out everyone of these they make are ALL keyed the same! My buddies lock he ordered a year ago and the one I ordered can both be opened with the same key. It even says on the box, "Key 501 opens most locks". Therefore I'm returning mine. I can't believe a company like Master would make trailer locks all keyed the same. Laziness?
