Answer:	They're somewhat grippy on the bottom and definitely ruggedly made. Not totally snow shoes because they come only above the calf, but very warm and comfy.

Answer:	I wear thick socks with these boots too. I went up a half size and it is not a problem.

Answer:	I bought fleece liners for these, and while the boots are pretty think, they have no other insulation. You'd be okay for a little while, but they are not built for snow. Your feet will get quite cold.

Answer:	Yes. I wear a size 7 to 7 1/2 but I ordered a size 8 so I can wear thick socks. This works out perfectly with these boots. They are VERY warm and comfortable. They also have a lug sole for traction.

Answer:	Yes. They make tile blades. Haven't used them more than once. It's a learning process. Have to get the right vibration going. I believe they were Bosch or Fein. Hope this helps. Answer:	I am not sure about the temperature range, but I can tell you this was a very good purchase. I live in MI. I have worn just the fleece jacket when the temperature has been as low as 35 degrees. I was out one day and had the waterproof outer jacket on over the fleece. It was on New Year eve and it was raining. I was not cold and I did not get wet.

Answer:	I don't know, but I think it covered my lower back and buttocks and I am 5'4". I returned it because the fleece sleeves were not lined, it made it hard to put on even if I held onto my long sleeves, and was too tight and bulky in the sleeves when I finally got it on.
