I then tried Red Wings but they wore out too fast so I am back to Timberland Pro. If I have problems this time I will definitely go after Timberland to make this right. This has the makings of a class action as many people have reported problems with this boot's soles coming apart. Google it.

Answer:	Environmental Liability Manager here. Due to the language of Prop 65, anybody can sue anybody over their product, so everybody in CA puts a prop 65 warning label on their products. This actually defeats the purpose of the legislation. This is a 'zero risk' model that is used in Europe. America uses a 'risk benefit' model, where a certain degree of risk is acceptable. I doubt the boots are dangerous. You get a much higher exposure of toxic chemicals when you pump your own gas.

Answer:	As others have suggested. At this price, probably all man-made materials. I have posed the question to many Chinese-manufactured boot sellers who claim "leather" in their uppers only to be informed that it is faux/synthetic "leather." Amazon needs to crack down on this misleading advertising. I can't say I've purchased cashmere or silk goods off Amazon, but if I discovered garments labelled as such were polyester I'd feel I'd been duped.

Answer:	Hello, Oakley hasn't had a lifetime warranty in quite some time now. All Oakley eyewear is warranted against breakage due to material or workmanship defect for two years from the date of purchase with a valid Proof of purchase. Oakley’s warranty program does not cover scratched lenses. Additionally, any alterations of Oakley products (i.e. sunglasses fit with non-Oakley prescription lenses) will void warranty coverage. The Oakley manufacture packaging also states that if purchase is made from a store that is not an authorized Oakley store any warranty will be void, as these stores do not buy from Oakley, their product is considered 3rd hand at best.
