I just ordered a new pair in the EU 42.5, "US 9.5", and they seem a little big. I will be swapping them back for the size 9 again. Although the break in process took a while, once broken in, these are a really good, comfortable, tough boot.

Question:	what is the strap for
Answer:	Not 100% sure. I originally thought that they were for securing them to the shoe somehow. But if they are, I can't figure it out. How I personally use the strap is to attach the muddy spikes to my backpack while I am not using them on the hike. When I get home, I clean the spikes, dry them and then put them back in their carry bag. This may or may not be the strap's true purpose but it's working for me.

Answer:	My husband bought two pair, I use mine more and I think they are great. I had major back surgery in March and worry about falling. • STEP 1: TRACE YOUR FOOT

Place a piece of paper on the ground. If your foot is bigger than a single sheet, make it two.

KEEP THE PENCIL UPRIGHT (at a 90 degree angle) AT ALL TIMES, especially at the heel.

• STEP 2: MEASURE LENGTH

Use a measuring tape, measure the outline from the back/central part of the heel to the end of the longest toe.
