Answer:	I used them at the Grand Canyon and Sodona in the middle of summer. They were great! Very supportive and not too hot or sweaty on my feet.

Answer:	Unfortunately I haven't hiked in the rain yet with mine but I would recommend wearing waterproof pants that cover the top of the boot. If you are wearing shorts your socks/feet may get wet.

Answer:	I just bought these boot, and they weren't anywhere near $400. I paid about $150 total with tax.

Answer:	I have wide feet, and I purchased a size 10. They fit me very well. I also have skinny heels/ankles, and my feet stay put. I'm very satisfied with these boots, and I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit well and are comfortable; plus I suffer from chronic plantar fasciitis. I do have to put my Powerstep insoles into these boots for my PF (like I do with nearly any shoe). Hey, since Amazon usually offers free returns, you have nothing to lose by ordering and trying the boots in your size. Good luck!

Answer:	Big toe fit was good. I have same problem and I broke them both in the past. The problem with the fit is in the ankle area.

Answer:	The Targhee II is just a hiking style and does not offer any kind of safety toe. If you'd like a similar style with a steel toe I'd recommend the Detroit Mid Steel Toe boot!

Answer:	I have a size 13 foot and usually wear a 13. These Keens fit just like the other Targhee's but better. So if you are a 13, I'd buy a 13. I ABSOLUTELY love these shoes!

Answer:	I hike with the same pack weight. (actually 38lbs) I found the Gypsum II provides more ankle support. Both are great boots and I really love the Targhee II's. They seem to fit my foot better. For ankle support alone the nod goes to the Gypsum.
Question:	If I wade a stream wearing these, are they going to stay full of water? Do they dry fast
Answer:	I usually were an E or EE width. This shoe is perfectly comfortable for me.

Answer:	Truthfully I would not wear these on a ship deck! Walking, hiking for sure as I'm a big fan. Their not design for that type wet surface and although they'd work, you'd have to be careful. Hope this helps - enjoy your cruise!

Answer:	I used these to climb Quandary with a fresh dump of 24" of snow in a very wet spring. Yes, I got snow in my shoe as I sunk into extremely deep spots but it handled admirably and dried extremely quick. Very impressed that after such a long/wet/snowy hike that they dried and my feet showed no symptoms of being water logged or uncomfy. You can get those snow covers for boots and they fit these shoes just fine. Mine were the low cuts

Answer:	I would try the size 11. I usually wear size 12.5, but since that's an oddball size I have to wear size 12's and hope they're long enough. I have narrow feet, but wear large woolSocks most of the time and still have plenty of room in the footbed.Keens will stretch and conform to your foot as you wear them, even if they're a little snug at first.
