Answer:	I use 2 oz. for a 10,000 gallon salt water pool. I would use that and maybe an 1/8 oz. more or just do the 2 oz. and see how it works.

Answer:	My pool uses a cartridge filter also and I’ve been using “Natural Chemistry Cover Free” for years! I never let the cartridge filter go more than 2 weeks between cleaning, usually it’s a weekly thing, but that’s just me! It helps in the cooler weather to hold the heat in and it slows down evaporation. Hope this helps

Answer:	It's 1 1/2" on the inside and 2" on the outside. Meaning it works with 1 1/2" or 2" plastic pipe.

Answer:	If you have a heater, you don't want the build up of chlorine gas to travel back into the piping system. Otherwise, not sure if you need it.This is a good quality check valve. The unit fits both sizes...inside 1-1/2 or outside 2" depending on the piping you have.
