Answer:	It's kind of strange, but I can't find anywhere on the boot that states where they were made. I think there was a removable tag when I bought them but can't recall. I can tell you that I sold these boots in the 80's when they were made in Denmark, and they seem to be the same quality as they were with the exception that they actually fit my foot better now.
Question:	Are these all Yak Hyde or plain cow leather??!!!?? I'm getting mixed up with the description
Answer:	The Track II is all cowhide leather while the Track 25 Premium Anniversary shoe/boots are made from YAK leathers.
Question:	I saw a lot of people complaining that urethane soles turned to taffy aft a year or so. I happened to me on 2 of 5 pairs. Is it still happening
Answer:	I also had this problem about 10 yrs ago w/ a beautiful pair I'd used to hike in the Canadian Rockies. The next winter, the soles dissolved in what I think was caused by the crap we put on sidewalks & streets to melt snow & ice (and poison our water). It happened on yet a 2nd pair a couple of years later. Even w/ the high price, I'm going to try a 3rd pair, but if these melt out--I'm done w/ this product.

Answer:	Wow, that's hard to say, I have have a loafer type with a round toe size 43, and a dress ecco in 44 because it had a narrower toe, then I got two of the exostrike in 44 (camel other black) they both fit great, loved them so much I ordered a 3rd exostrike but they did not fit the same, the 3rd pair was painfully tight, so I exchanged for a 45, still tight but too long. Had to return. My experience is they are a great shoe, but seem to vary.

Question:	Would this be a good shoe to use in snow/glacier hikes
Answer:	While these are not insulated, they should be fine for some summer glacier exploration with a pair of gaiters IMO. I've personally used ECCO's for snow shoe hikes in Winter and just used a pair of neoprene Ski boot covers for extra insulation when needed.

Answer:	Not sure . They are waterproof so may be a little warm for summer. I've only when them in winter.

Answer:	I don't have size 42 in the Ecco Drak Mid boots. I do have a size 43 which is 30.5 cm from heel to toe on the outsole and I'm not sure what the measurements are on the inside. Hope this helps. Thanks for asking.

BIOM Natural Motion

BIOM Natural Motion technology is based on the natural shape and movement of the foot. The low-to-the-ground construction in the BIOM multisport shoes provides flexibility and better ground contact; great for all outdoor activities.

Receptor

Receptor guides your foot to an optimal 20-degree angle of ground contact, made with our specially rounded heel. An integrated Internal Mid-foot Shank then delivers anatomical support throughout your step.

Finally, Dual Flex Grooves are activated to give you a more efficient push-off.

GORE-TEX

Highly breathable and 100% waterproof, we integrate a GORE-TEX membrane into our uppers before carefully sealing them. Using this technology enables us to create outdoor shoes that keep your feet dry, comfortable and ventilated - even on the wettest journeys.

HYDROMAX

HYDROMAX is a treatment developed by ECCO to make our leather highly water repellent. It helps preventing the leather from hardening as it dries, keeping the hide supple, durable and breathable – even after repeated water contact.

YAK Leather

The yak thrives in extreme conditions of the Tibetan Plateau. Characteristics that protect yaks from warm summers and cold winters in the mountains results in an exceptional multi-season leather. The aged, rugged appearance is emphasized by strong markings and natural characteristics, which are highly visible. Yak leather is robust and abrasion resistant yet breathable, with a soft hand feel and excellent stretch and return traits.

GORE-TEX SURROUND Technology

A special selection of Hiking & Walking styles utilize the ground breaking GORE-TEX SURROUND waterproof construction, for increased breathability around the entire foot; not just the top.

Direct Injection Production with ECCO FLUIDFORM Technology

Developed by ECCO over many years, the FLUIDFORM Direct-injection process is a technology that enables us to create ergonomically advanced soles. By injecting a resilient, shock-absorbent material directly into the shoe mold, we bond the sole to the upper without glue or stitching. The result is a sole that fits naturally, and a light yet cushioned step.

TPU Outsoles

Some ECCO outdoor styles feature a Thermoplastic (TPU) outsole for increased wear on urban surfaces. The TPU outsole material is nearly 5x more durable than typical rubber outsoles giving them unparalleled long term durability.
