To confirm the correct size and proper fit, there should be about a pinky finger width between your heel and the back of the clog. Your heel should move up and down freely (like an open clog) when walking. Relax your feet and resist the urge to curl your toes. Stand with equal weight on both feet, the clog's arch should be under your arch and you should not feel the back of the shoe on your heel or your toes touching the front of the clog. Remember! Answer:	Not only are they not light they are also narrower inside the shoe AND my size 11 much bigger shoe than I would normally buy and I know you are suppose to buy at least 1 size bigger in the classic crocs I bought 2 sizes bigger and they are tight putting your foot into the shoe and not a lot of room inside the shoe if you wanted to wear socks. Room forward and back in them but not happy at all with the fit of these. They are a good shoe (seriously) sturdy Don't know how slip resistant they are in conditions such as working in a kitchen. But they do have a whole different sole on them then the classic crocs (which I wish they would put on the classic crocs) and have never slipped in the bistos so far.

Answer:	These are suede shoes. Suede comes as rough out or a smoother version. I believed the 'oiled' are the smoother type, not rough.
Question:	What is the difference between "unisex" Boston clog vs "women's" Boston clog? Is a 7medium the same in both
Answer:	The Boston is a unisex clog available for men and women in both a narrow and a regular (wider) width. They are made in Germany, so they are sized as size 38N, size 38R, size 39N, size 39R, size 40N, size 40 R, and so on. Vendors on Amazon sometimes post listings for "Women's" Boston clogs, but they are selling standard unisex Boston clogs. Before buying Boston clogs, go to the Birkenstock USA website and use their helpful chart to determine your EURO size. In USA sizing, I wear a men's size 10 1/2D shoes. The chart suggests I wear a Euro size 43R regular width, and that size in fact fits me very well with the thick socks I prefer to wear. If I wore the Bostons with only bare feet, I suspect the 43N narrow width would be a good fit. Note that the wool top, felt top and suede top versions stretch and eventually feel wider. The oiled leather and smooth leather do not stretch very much so a narrow size remains narrow. One other fitting issue. The "soft" footbed is thicker than the regular footbed. People with "tall" feet, especially in the narrow width, sometimes find that the thicker soft footbed makes the Boston feel tight across the top of their foot. Those folks should stick with the regular footbed.
Question:	Why do my arches and top of my feet hurt wearing Birkenstock clogs? I adjusted the strap to be looser and it didn't help
Answer:	You may have very low arches or flat feet. In that case they would hurt. If you feel the arches are too high..as someone suggested here, perhaps you could gently tap the arches down a bit. Since they are cork, I would think they might be able to handle that without breaking the shoe. You can also call Birkenstock with questions like this.

Answer:	Yeah the first time I wore them, I felt like my toes were going to fall off from the friction of the bumps and it felt like (without looking) that blisters had taken the place of my toes. lol This was an extremely busy 8 hour shift as a restaurant server. When I had gotten home, my toes looked fine, and I just took the shoes off for the rest of the night, gave my feet some rest, cleaned the shoes, and now for some reason these are more comfortable to me then even the LiteRide crocs which don't really have these bumps. Your feet may just need to adjust a little, it's hard to say why I like them so much now. Another tip would be to try wearing the straps, because I think the blistering torture comes from your feet moving too much inside the shoes. So find a perfect fit, utilize Amazon Wardrobe if you can for different sizes, and try alternating between straps and straps-up to see which is more comfortable. Jeez, this should have been a full review. lol
Question:	The crocs look kinda fake compared to the ones on the crocs website are they
Answer:	I noticed the ones I ordeted here didn't have all the same markings my old ones did, and they felt a bit different.... So I called the actual customer support line for crocs to ask about them. They said it was very unlikely they were fake. I'm still not convinced they're genuine, but not sure they're fake either. I know that's not exactly helpful but it's my two cents.

Answer:	I wear a size 8 my foot also is 4 inches wide very good fit. The difference between classic and coast is the side (not top) holes There is 6 holes around the sole top on classic, the front two holes are removed leaving 4 side holes to prevent waves/sand entering head on. There is another version called crocband that has no holes at all around the sole and look like tennis shoes they are my favorite at beach keeps most sand out.

These crocs are wearing very well and there is no stripping, discoloration, fading, or cracking... and he gets compliments every time he wears them. My husband told me recently that Crocs should pay him for wearing them as he believes that their sales have improved since he started wearing them. ;-)
