Answer:	I had the same issue, usually buying an 11 wide, HOWEVER, I relied on the Scechers size guide individualized by specific shoe...it will ask you your "normal" size and will make a recommendation based on its knowledge of the construction of the shoe...as a result I bought a perfect 10 1/2 that fits and feels fine..I trusted the size feature, hope it works for you.

Answer:	The Melvin/Milford sole is flimsy. I highly recommend Skechers Drigos, with the full length memory foam insole which is heaven. These should be listed as 3E instead of 2E: Look closely at image of bottom of black version of shoes, across from heel's S logo to see 'EEE' label. Both these and the Melvin/Milford have a thick memory foam cushion only at the heel.

Answer:	Yes you can wear them w/o socks and they are comfortable. I have worn them for short periods w/o socks, however there's no cloth to absorb the moisture and the memory foam can get a little "humid".

Answer:	Yes-- it took some time (a day or two) to break in, but now they slide on and off pretty easily. They are perfect for flying and traveling, and still look classy with khakis and a blazer. It's a good buy.
