Answer:	I'm certain it will. My boots I bought this glue for were DrMartens. The fabric mesh style. And sadly it this glue wasn't useful with fabric. I used the glue for my other old England original DrMartens and it worked perfectly well. Also used this glue (out of curiosity) for other projects and it worked so well. So besides fabric....This boot glue fix worked on every other project.

HOW TO USE:

HELPFUL TIPS:

*  Have a tri-folded paper towel handy to wipe off any excess glue.



*  For completely detached soles, preset sole to desired position and hold. Repeat above steps to the toe or heel first, then repeat for opposite end until entire sole is attached.



*  If there’s a white film on the surface of the material, or if the footwear has been washed or exposed to soapy substances, you will need to use more Boot-Fix and apply more pressure for a longer period of time to allow for the adhesive to soak through the film and bond to the intended materials.



*  For porous materials, use Boot-Fix as described in the directions.  If the bond does not hold after 1 minute, simply repeat the steps again with more glue now that the porous material has been filled with some glue. This repair might also require more pressure for a longer period of time for the adhesive to work as intended.



*  Latex or other types of gloves are not required to use Boot-Fix and may get glued to your footwear accidently. We recommend doing the repairs carefully with your bare hands. If you do accidently get Boot-Fix on your skin, apply cooking oil to bonded areas and gently rub to peel bond apart.



*  Store Boot-Fix in a cool dry place or refrigerator and ensure the cap clicks shut when closing for longest life.

Answer:	Probably not. It's intended for polystyrene. May also work on PLA (polylactic acid) plastic. Try something with acetone in it for ABS.

Answer:	I like it very much, it is not as thick as Shoe Goo. i use it on soles that have come loose. Put a little on the outer edge of the sole then I clamp it to the upper for about 15-30 minuets. Works like a charm.

Answer:	You bet. If you’ve lost you like Denture, you do not want a repair kit! Besides, this kit may work but it’s very difficult to use. I recently got a replacement at Aspen dental for $600. This place and Affordable Dentures are The only places I know of that will get you Denture’s for under $1500. Personally, had an excellent experience at Aspen Dental (I’m in the Milwaukee area.).

Question:	Would Freesole work to repair a seam that's starting to unravel above the heel on my favorite pair of leather boots? The rip is almost a 1/2 inch now
Answer:	Freesole isn't really intended for that kind of repair, but for building up a worn down surface, or gluing two flat surfaces together. If it's a stitched seam up the back of the boot, and the stitching, not the leather is failing, it might prevent further unraveling. It probably wouldn't hold together two pieces of edge-butted leather, but if there's a leather liner behind the seam (dress boots), or a reinforcing strip over it (work boots), you may be able to glue the two sides down to it- but clamping it would be difficult and messy. A shoe tree would be the best way to maintain the shape during curing.If it were me, I'd go to a shoe repair shop - a good one could fix it better and faster. If they are high quality dress leather boots, the cost and appearance of a professional repair would be worth having a pro do it.
Question:	After you use it, does the opening of the tube get clogged up (like in Elmer's glue)? If yes, what can be done to open up the tube again
Answer:	Before storing for long time an opened tube, I put a little petroleum jelly on the thread of the nozzle. Then I take approx. 1"x1" piece of aluminum foil, also smear some jelly on it, cover the nozzle and jam it around the treads. Then screw on the cap on top of it. Store in the freezer. The jelly helps to (1) seal and prevent the solvent from evaporating; (2) prevent sticking the cap/foil to the nozzle. Make sure not to get the jelly on the material you are gluing next time. Some hardening may still occur: pry off the hardened part with a sharp tool (see the trick with a drill bit mentioned by J. Brown). I've managed to use one tube many times in a span of several months following this routine.
Question:	almost the whole sole is coming off a pair of expensive loafers. will this hold that much on
Answer:	I wasn't impressed with this product. Maybe others will have better luck? This didn't hold soles on for us. E6000 seemed better.
Question:	The second time I wanted to use this product, it was hard in the tube and wouldn't come out. How do you get the product soft enough to squeeze it out
Answer:	Hi, after the first time I used the Freesole, I put the cap on and put it in the freezer. The next time i used it, i took it out of the freezer and let it warm up for 15-20 minutes and it came out of the tube fine. They recommend you put the tube in warm water in the instructions. Answer:	After you cut the nose and used the ca, put the bottle vertically and squeeze it gently to make sure there is no remaining glue in the applicator. Wipe it and put the cap on. Best way to prolong the shelf life - keep it refrigerated. It will not dry out.

Answer:	BLACK: one I bought was black as tar. I did not notice the Clear version, which I'd buy in future. Black worked fine for my present use, though.I think the stuff sticks to most anything. It is sticky and black and hard to apply - it just squeezes out of the tube and needs to be spread by toothbrush or other brush or gloved fingers. It is great for rough repair like sole adhesion if you can get at the 2 surfaces needing adhesion. I've stuck pieces of leather together as well. But unless you carefully mask areas not to be marked up, it will leave a mess to greater or lesser extent. I kinda like the mess as it hardens to a nice shiny black finish and on the boots I have used this for, it does not look bad at all. MAYBE you can do fine repair of good stuff; but requires masking, I think. Residue is much like caulking material but jet black and not shot out of a tube or nozzle. So, hard to control. It ended up looking a lot better than the caulk repair used by cobbler prior to my own efforts, though, since I could spread it out nicely to feather out edges, which suited me just fine. These were boots on a second or third life so I did not care at all how they looked. Still holding up to hard use!
Question:	What's the shelf life for a tube? I'm planning to keep it at home for emergencies
Answer:	Not sure of total shelf life, but I've had a tube OPEN for a couple of months now and it still works fine.I just make sure the opening is clear of glue so the cap doesn't stick and all is good.

Answer:	It is a 2 part epoxy type compound. The kit comes with all you will need to mix it together.
Question:	Is the 608 x-wide v5 the same as 608 x-wide v4 and why'd they change v4 to v
Answer:	It depends. I tried it on a molar from my partial, but I didn't get it on right & it was very uncomfortable & I had to have it done professionally. However, I've used it more than once on an eye-tooth. On that one, it's just sort of the front that comes off (the part that actually looks like tooth). The last time it lasted about six weeks. You absolutely have to be able to fit the pieces together correctly to use it. I hope that helps.
Question:	Where can I buy nice brand sneakers?Is the price cheap
Answer:	I have never glued a tooth back in. My repairs were to fix broke in two dentures.

Answer:	I love this repair kit. It is intended to replace teeth that fell off of the plate and to bridge cracks before you have two pieces. To repair a complete break you need a dentist because the plate must conform to your jaw correctly or you may experience bone loss and or blistering from rubbing. This product when mixed becomes a soupy liquid. It is not moldable like a clay.
