Answer:	Small depth in tread. Not enough to really collect a lot of mud. Also has a deeper groove in heel, again not really deep enough to collect a lot of mud. Both are just enough to give a skid proof step. Very nice boot

Answer:	I’d say they are really close to being true to size. Maybe slightly on the larger size. And if your going to wear heavy socks ?? I usually wear 10.5 to 11 shoes, I got the 10D and they fit well.

Question:	Does this boot have the comfort core insole
Answer:	My husband tried these in 2 sizes, but found the length to be too long in the larger size. He ended up with a 10.5 D and is very pleased. He had tried an 11D and a 10.5 EE, but the EE was too wide for his foot and the 11 was too long. I would probably try the 10 EE in your case and see if that works. He is very happy with his boots, but, he did end up having to go to the shorter, zip up version because his foot was too wide to go in the shaft of the taller boot. Good luck!

Answer:	Bees wax and mink oil from time to time any leather boot has the potential to leak but the beeswax will help and the mink oil will make the leather soft so if you get them wet they won't get stiff and crack

Answer:	It it a natural leather without dye. I use a leather mink oil on mine which gives it a almost dark brown appearance, but out of the box it is a light natural leather tan. I think you can keep the light if you use a different type of oil but I have never tried. The last pair was my second pair and I really like the look and feel of the boot.

Answer:	This boot did not fit my foot well and I returned it. I believe the heel was 1.75", standard cowboy heel. I loved the color, look and feel of the leather, it just didn't fit my narrow foot well.

Answer:	Narrow square toe. For some reason, the right boot fit much differently than the left boot which is uncommon in Ariat boots. I've seen this more in red wings, but never these. Great boot, but I only wore them a handful of times because they bother my right foot.
Question:	Do these boots have the wide square toe? Or the narrow square toe
Answer:	I ordered my usual shoe width of 2E. My boots are new; so they're still a bit snug. I'm wearing thinner socks until mine are more broken in. They are comfortable to me.

Answer:	It's really tough to answer that for boots. I would recommend trying on some boots from the brands you're looking for at a store. Then, if you have prime with free shipping, order two pairs around the size you think will work and try them on. Be sure to google how they should feel when you try them on new, like where they should be snug and where the toe should flex when you walk.

Question:	Are the 'scales' at least raised, not flat
Answer:	Really easy to clean. The silicone gasket in the lid can and should be removed for cleaning. You can easily pull this out with your fingers. There’s also a circular gasket under the lid, and Thermos included a little notch that makes it really easy to remove the gasket with a fork or another blunt narrow tool.

Answer:	Yes it will fit but not all the way down. It is snug and not loose like the 26oz. The hole is tapered 4” at the top. The 36 oz bottle is 3.75”.

Answer:	I, too, put in long days on my feet. They are very comfortable for me.

Answer:	Yes, they are fully leather lined with what appears to be calf, goat or deer skin (not a synthetic leather or fabric) driving glove-like leather...very comfortable. They also added a heavier cowhide reinforcement patch around the inner rear seam between the upper and rear lower, where boot linings often begin to wear and separate over time. As an airline pilot, I bought these boots as daily uniform boots. I’m often in them for 15-20 hours per day for 10-15 days in a row. These are probably THE most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned, even compared to my $$$ Luccheses and Tony Lamas. They also have a composite shank, rather than a steel shank and no nails, so they can be worn through TSA metal detectors without issue. They’re also a very nice looking daily dress boot that look, feel and wear like a very high dollar boot. My only complaint of these boots is the Made in China stamp on the inside.

Answer:	You can Exchange if done in accordance with amazons policies on returns
Question:	To big so retuning. Can I just exchange or do I have to return and reorder
Answer:	Mine came as shown. I believe there were two different color options when I purchased though.

Answer:	Yes, they fit nicely in a 5" stirrup. I wouldn't use them with any stirrup with padding in the bottom as the tread design is aggressive and may snag during an emergency dismount.
Question:	Do they fit in the stirrup
Answer:	They are Tan.. and look good. Only issue is the were the boot is sewed to shaft, the seam is this thick and rubs on the top of the foot.
