Question: | What is the inslation type? What is the insulation factor number |
Answer: | The insulation is Sherpa. There is also a removable liner under your feet. The insulation factor is not given. These are the warmest work boots I have found. The spent the day working in 2 feet of snow, 0 to 10 degrees on a roof in Hartford, CT. and my feet stayed warm. It is usually not cold enough to wear these boots. There are best at below 10 degrees. |
Question: | How many grams of insulation do these boots have |
Answer: | They are insulated with sherpa lining. It is not measured in grams like thinsulate. The boots are plenty warm. I've worn them working in zero degrees, working on a flat roof covered with snow with just good wool socks and my feet were warm. |
Question: | How waterproof are these boots? Do you need to Sno-Seal them |
Answer: | These boots are waterproof, but Sno-Seal will help preserve them and keep them waterproof and soft. I have walked in slush water and I have never had wet feet. |
