Question:	do these fit tight across the top of instep
Answer:	Contrary to other people's responses, I found that they are tight fitting across the section where you should be able to put your foot inside of the shoe. I normally wear a women's regular with u.s. 12 which is what I purchased and I cannot even get my foot into the shoe. I live in Taiwan so this is a complete waste for me I cannot return them. For your information these say they are a Euro 42, not a 43 as most US women's size 12 shoes run. This is just my personal experience with these shoes. there is no flexibility or stretch in the fabric across the top part of the shoe where the opening is.

I like my shoes looking fresh and if I think my white soles are looking dirty, I will just scrub the sides of the sole, plus if you get them really dirty you can run them through your washing machine and they are like new.

Answer:	I had to return them because they were way too large...all memory foam shoes are pretty amazing, but if I wore them all day every day replace every 6 months or so. They get hard pretty fast. Order a size down. I wear a 6 in skechers, and that was what I ordered, but they were floppy...even thick socks wouldn't help
