Answer:	I don’t have a super high arch but somewhat higher. These give me very good support in the arch but I’m disappointed in the upper support this style offers. After only a few weeks I’m only using them for walking or the gym, not running. And the tongue doesn’t stay straight.

Answer:	The Saucony Guide is specifically designed for runners (or walkers) who over-pronate, so there is increased support for the instep. The number just has to do with the latest model. I’ve found the 13 is slightly more narrow than the 10, so I notice the instep more in the 13 than I did on the 10.
