I have the wide and the tag on the shoe does not have a "W" but does have the EE9202 number. So check the box and the shoes and see if the item number matches. It really would be better to also include a "W". Also Adidas tends to run a bit narrow, so it's understandable to think they put the wrong shoe in the box!
