Answer:	See previous response. That 38" is an inseam length, not from hip. Sorry! They are quite long. Husband is 6'4" and usually wears a 36 inseam and these are to the floor on him.

Answer:	I am just guessing based on wearing size large, but XL should easily go from size 42 to 46 and possibly 48. 2XL would probably go from size 46 to 52 or 54. I'm basing this on my size and also how roomy they are and how much they seem to stretch.

Answer:	I own a few pairs of these Hanes loungers and it depends. Its one piece on 2 black pair I own. The cord goes all the way around. However on a dark grey pair I have they are in two pieces sown in the back. The one side pulled out on me after about a year. However, I was able to easily fix that problem after fashioning a thin wooden dowl to slide over the cord and a needle and thread. Took 5 minutes. What I recommend is passing a needle and thread through on both sides before even wearing them. This way you know you won't have this problem down the road. Otherwise I love them. Super comfy and roomy. Hope this helps any potential buyers.

The instructions suggest washing them once in cold water and hanging out to dry BEFORE wearing them.. They shrunk maybe a 1/2" to an inch, but I expected that. I have tried to help you but I don't think I did. Sorry.

Answer:	I bought several pairs of the XX-Large size of these Amazon Essentials pajamas, and they are the perfect length for me. I wanted to make absolutely sure they were not going to be too small, so this is why I ordered the XX-Large. I am only 5 foot 10 inches and 165 pounds, so it would seem like these would be too big for me, but they are the perfect size and length. The waist is indeed way bigger than my waist size, but the drawstring allows them to be tied to just the right waist size. If the legs were any shorter, they would bee too short to be comfortable for sleeping, as pajamas often need a bit of extra length when bending the knees during sleep.
