My background is in Whole sales fashion specializing in garment dye products. FYI these are pieced dyed. I am very picky, yet I needed goof around Tee's that looked OK. These are good. Not a stylish or athletic fit. Just a good basic. I will say they put the quality in the neck bias. They hold their shape. So I would say they are the perfect weight for goofing around Tee's. Answer:	They are not as flexible as a top notch running shoe. But they do use have a midsole stability shank, so they are comparably flexible for a walking or hiking shoe.
