Answer:	Great spine protection, but agree that it is light protection everywhere else. I like this great for downhill at the bike park because it offers some protection without feeling bulky and fits easily under a jersey. It’s a good option if you’re an experienced rider and not regularly pushing the edge of your limits. If your just starting out or are really pushing your progression with high consequences, I’d definitely encourage you to go with a more protective set up. Like everything with protection, it’s really comes down to what your comfortable with, and the level of risk your taking. Have fun!

Answer:	I am around 220 - 230 (5'11"). Broad in the shoulders and chest. I ordered an XL and it was too tight, especially on the shoulders and upper arms. Sold it and went for something else so I can't tell you if an XXL exists or how it fits sorry.
