Answer:	These shoes have standard bolt patterns for cleated. I use Shimano road cleats and had no problem, there were instructions for other styles also. These are NOT suitable to ride without cleats, if you want that, find a pair with regular tread or look at MTB shoes with trad on the bottom.

Question:	What size should I order for my husband if his boots are size 8? Both small and medium say that fit 8's
Answer:	No traction, so you will not only slip but the boots also leak. However, you will look cute.

Answer:	I would suggest doing so. I did use waterproofing spray on mine.
Question:	are these socks waterproof
Answer:	These are supposed to be waterproof but over the course of the year that I wore them, they leaked fairly often. To be fair, I live in the PNW on an island and got them quite wet, but the leaking was from the seams around the toes.

Answer:	No, there is not a lot of support in these boots.
