If your calf is any larger than 12 inches, I'd guess you will find these uncomfortably tight.

Answer:	I initially measured my hand as the sizing chart said to do and I thought I would be a men's large. Upon receiving the gloves I noticed that they were very tight. I could wear them but they were tight. I then ordered one xl and one xxl and they both fit better but I would say the xxl felt the best on me. So I maybe would go up two sizes. One thing to keep in mind is how snug you want the gloves to be as I don't like gloves that are tight fitting.

Question:	I work at christmas tree farm and need socks that will keep me warm for 8+ hrs. i need some feedback plz. will these work
Answer:	I recommend waterproof insulated boots in addition to these socks for that environment. The socks must stay dry if you want them to work. I have personally not been outside in sub-freezing weather for more than 4 hours at a stretch, but my feet did not get cold wearing these socks and gore-tex boots.
