Answer:	If you push the release then it takes really no weight to pull it apart. If you're considering using this to hang something from I would probably look elsewhere as these are not high quality to begin with.

Answer:	3” long and 1” wide. The disconnect is 7/16” at the widest part. When I put my keys in in my pocket I fold the two ends together. The disconnect goes beside the remote and the keys are beside the remote at a slight angle. The way the rings swivel there is really no difference in the bulkiness of the keys using this coupler.

Answer:	You are correct. It is 3 inches from outside of ring to outside of ring. It does work well.

Question:	I can't get any of the key rings to pull apart. Is there something you are supposed to do that I don't know about
Answer:	One end of the key ring will push in. Simply push and hold that end pushed in very tightly together and the rings will pull apart. When reattaching you must push in again, hold in place and the rings will slip right back together and then release. It took me awhile to figure it out but once you know what you need to do it works well. It is great anywhere you need to just leave your car key.. auto shop, valet parking, etc.

Answer:	Its enough to have arround 8 mid sized key.. But the item is not worth buying to be honest... after a week of use you can not attatch thwm together anymore as the ball inside the lock breaks each time and this will lead to lose your keys.
Question:	I need a split key ring that I can get my car fob on. Does this ring pull open easy enough to put the fob on
Answer:	It takes a bit of effort, but it can be done. Depending upon the size of the fob, however,some fobs are very difficult to attach - but there are some work-arounds. I have one fob that is very large (has a remote start, etc). Instead of attaching the fob directly to the key ring I attached the key ring that held the fob and the car key together to the new key ring. Makes the length of the keys a little longer, but it "folds up" easier when putting them in my pocket.

Answer:	While I can’t speak to the comparison between materials, I can attest to the durability of my brass one. It has withstood several years and over 100k miles driven hanging off the steering wheels, plus being pulled apart frequently. It is one of the most solidly machined pieces of functionality that I’ve come across in a very long time. With that being said, I’m sure the Lexan item would also be extremely sturdy and long lasting.

Question:	How easily can I disconnect this product with one hand? I want to use it for work, and one handed disconnection is imperative
Answer:	Fairly well, I would think. This gadget is bulletproof and incredibly well designed. There isn't anyway that it will disconnect on its own or inadvertently I'm your pocket or throwing it around even but with enough force (you won't need much, depending on how strong you are, I'm a fairly strong 28 year old male, so my opinions of "easy" and "strong" may be different than yours) I would say maybe about 25-30 of your hand effort could disconnect it one handed. So maybe somewhere in the neighborhood of 4-5 pounds of force is enough to disconnect the two ends. Hope that helps.

Twisting the two halves while connecting/disconnecting the QR will significantly reduce the amount of force required to connect/disconnect. The twisting action pre-loads the canted coil spring and makes it easier to compress.

BREAK IN PERIOD

The sharp edge of the retaining groove (male portion of the QR) can create an excessively crisp/sharp detach on a brand new QR. The first few dozen actuations will round-over this edge. Over time, the connect/disconnect should become smoother.

Answer:	Ti rings do help, but its a very strong magnet and it will grab on to every piece of ferrous metal it comes into contact! Kinda annoying but doesn't keep me from using everyday, try a aluminum caribiner along with Ti rings to at least take care of the bag attached end.
