Answer:	You should order as they instruct. Measure your current belt from the center of the buckle to the hole currently in use. They will not stretch very much. You should be able to buckle in the forth hole. The belt has seven holes. You should return it for the correct size.

Answer:	Please do expound upon this question. I'm sure there's a logical explanation as to why you would want to remove the buckle from this belt, or any belt for that matter, but I simply can not imagine what possible reason you could have for asking this question. I've seen many a reversible belt/belt buckle and in the Army we had removable brass buckles on our dress uniform belts but what reason could you possibly have for wanting a belt with a removable buckle??

Answer:	Great Question! Yes it's 100% AustriAlpin Cobra. It's made by AustriAlpin the patent holder and sole manufacturer of the cobra buckle. The "Hybrid" means that one side is smaller (the female side). The original Cobra buckle female side is so big it doesn't fit though pant loops and you have to remove the buckle each time you feed the belt through new pants. With the hybrid model buckle, the female side fits through the pant loops with no issue. If you have tiny belt loops you can still remove the male side on this belt and feed the belt though and reattach the buckle. This does not happen much but it's an option if needed. FYI This buckle is SUPER STRONG! It'll hold loads upto 2023lbs! If you have further questions please let us know! Thank you and have a great day!

Answer:	I did a lot of research before ordering this for my husband, this is from their website: “We put a dab of glue on the Chicago screws while crafting your Main Street Forge belt. This helps to make sure the original buckle stays put and doesn’t come loose accidentally. Unfortunately, this can make removal of the screws a bit difficult. In order to remove the screws, you have to be able to break the adhesive seal on the screw. It can be difficult, but if you use a screwdriver on the one side and you grab the other (smooth) side of the screw with a pair of needle nose pliers you can get enough torque. Once the seal is broken, it will unscrew very easily. The trick is to get a good grip on the screw with the pliers without damaging the leather, you have to be careful. Please contact us directly if you aren’t able to remove the screws and we will help however we can.” They have a link on the website under the help section to contact them.

Question:	Is this good stiff buffalo leather? Can it come in 1and5/8width
Answer:	It is possible to change the belt buckle, but it can be a bit tricky. We place a dab of adhesive inside of the screws during manufacturing to make sure that they don't come loose. In order to remove the screws, you have to be able to break the adhesive seal. It can be difficult, but if you use a torx wrench on the one side and you grab the other side with a pair of needle nose pliers you can get enough torque. Once the seal is broken, it will unscrew very easily. The trick is to get a good grip on the screw with the pliers without damaging the leather, you have to be careful. If there is anything else we can do, or if you can't get it please let us know and we will help you figure something else out.
Question:	Can you use linseed oil on this belt
Answer:	That's just the reflection from the lights. They are polished black as they come that way from COBRA. They do have a bit of a shine during bright lights that can make them appear different.
Question:	Is the buckle painted? If so might it chip? I hesitate to order because it cannot easily be replaced
Answer:	Not NFPA Certified.

Answer:	The chart they provided tells you to measure your normal belt and match it to the chart, their belts run on the small side. I have a 38/40 waist and purchased the largest belt, I’m maxed out on the Velcro adjustment. If my waist were any larger I don’t think this belt would fit. Having a 45 waist even their large belt may be too small, their belts are well constructed and good quality but, they do run on the small side. Hopefully this helps

Answer:	It suggests 2 inches bigger than pants size. So I woud go with the 36. Exchanges are very easy if it doesn't fit the way you like. I was in the same situation and went with the larger size and it fits nicely. The leather is stiff and will wear nicely.

Question:	I ordered a size 38 belt returned it. I could only get it to the first hole. I want a belt 4 holes larger. What size do you recommend
Answer:	Standard length. I ordered 2 belts at size 38 (I wear size 36 bluejeans) and they both fit perfectly, if not a slight bit large. Measured from the center hole on my belt it's 39" to the end of the buckle.
Question:	I need a size 52. Any chance that size will be available
Answer:	The one I bought was 1 1/2 inches wide. Nice belt glad i was able to find a US manufacturer.
Question:	What is the spacing between holes & how many holes in total
Answer:	initially the belt seemed a bit stiff, wasn't sure if I was going to like it. However, within a few days of use it became more pliable. The more I wear it the more pliable it has become. It is one of the best belts I have ever owned and I have owned many of over the years. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a durable belt that is neither too stiff nor too soft.

Question:	Is this full grain, top grain, bottom grain, bonded or what
Answer:	I can not answer why they don't have that stamp. I can say that I have had several dress type belts all stamped as real leather. The leather was only a very thin veneer and the belts started cracking and breaking very soon after I started wearing them.
Question:	Is the buckle 35mm
Answer:	Yes it is full grain leather. It is solid leather not bonded leather so it will not scratch off. Its real leather.
Question:	In the description it says 22" to 44". When I order the belt it came as 22". How are you supposed to make it a 44" belt when the belt is only
Answer:	Our Colonial Casual Jean Belt is made from genuine cow hide, which makes for smooth leather that is rich in color.
