Question:	Can you use this umbrella in the rain
Answer:	The best way requires that you have a strong fingernail on your index finger. Then you can push on the little knob on one side of the clasp. Push it toward the knot in the cord; even though it looks like it's already nearly at this side, it isn't quite. This is very tricky and I refused to accept defeat or I wouldn't have figured it out. The other way, which doesn't always work, is to squeeze the fastener between your thumb and index finger, then use your other hand to open the bag. I may end up untying the cord, removing the clasp, and retying the cord, or applying heat so the ends fuse. I can then tie a tie or something in the cord to keep it mostly closed.

Answer:	2-fold just collapses into one long closed umbrella. A 3-fold has a hinged rib and folds in half after you collapse the umbrella and the handle slides up into itself (telescopes) to make a very compact umbrella when it is folded. Answer:	The liner is black. Take a look at the side panel of photos that show different views of the umbrella. Click on the one that shows the underside. It is black. I purchased the gold umbrella as a gift for a friend. It is gorgeous and definitely gold on top, but the liner is black. I have read that black actually deflects harmful sun rays better than white. I am not a scientist, so I don't know that for sure. But that is the purpose of a parasol. It is supposed to protect you from the sun. Hope this helps.

Question:	Why is it the wrong color
Answer:	Dear Customer, we don't have a video for this umbrella. There is a black buckle which is movable. When you push the buckle up, open the umbrella, and lock it as open. When you pull the buckle, the umbrella will be closed. when closing it, you can slightly push the handle and the umbrella will be closed/locked with a locking sound. Question:	Can it withstand wind

Answer:	The one I purchased (and returned) was a 2-fold. It opens very awkwardly. You have to flip it around, and then manually lock down each of the eight spines before you can fully open it. When closing, you have to unlock each of the eight spines. That's way too awkward and time-consuming. I have never seen an umbrella that's so awkward to open and close.
Question:	Can this be used in the rain or is it strictly for sun blocking
Answer:	I would say so. Used mine if Florida and loved it
