It does not open up completely like a clamshell, but it is quite easy to slide your clothes into the space remaining that isn't fully unzipped. This design is to make it easier for the bag to compress when the second zipper is used.

Answer:	They are soft, and can fold up. They can compress your clothing, though, as they will squeeze the items down as you zip them up. You just can't overfill or the zippers would break. I know I can fit more in my suitcase with them.

Answer:	I love these for packing my children’s clothes. I assign a cube per child, this way I don’t have to rummage through the entire suitcase case making a mess of it every time I need something for one of them. If i remember correctly I was able to pack 3 days worth of outfits including pj’s. My children are 6, 4 and 2 years old so clothing is not too big. This makes mommy’s life so much easier. Answer:	Will try and find photos but I use them all the time, smaller ones for underwear, mid size for t-shirts and shorts etc and the biggest one fits up to five work shirts. I usually put the smaller ones at the bottom and the large one on top, fits perfectly in a carry on suitcase

Answer:	Yes, my daughter and her family took a 10 day trip to Italy and the only luggage they took was 1 backpack each using their packing cubes and had everything they needed! These things are great!!!

Answer:	No, these are not compression bags. They help more fit only to the extent that you fill every inch, squish and zip. I use them to color code my husband's and my items as I always pack half of each of us in each checked bag in case one bag would go astray. We use the small ones in our carryons to keep track of things we might want while in transit.
Question:	It is durable? How's the quality compared to e-bags or AmazonBasic packing cubes
Answer:	I can’t compare to the ones mentioned, but these were awesome. I’ve only used them on one extended trip to Italy, but they were perfect keeping my clothes and other items organized during different hotel moves. I was really pleased with the quality and sizes ...especially when the price was pretty reasonable. I’d get them again( though these will seemingly last quite a while) I will get them as a gift for a friend.

Answer:	I think it depends on how you pack. for parkas 2-3, jackets 4-5, sweater, 8-10, T-shirts 16-20, we usually use the large cubes for a 7-10 days trip, and it really save much space for your suitcase.

Answer:	In my view, well made. Since prices varies, I can’t say whether your price is good buy or not.
Question:	What are the actual dimensions of the Medium size? Specifications say 2.2" high and 12.5" wide, but there is no 3rd dimension
Answer:	Measuring mine across the seams - approximately 14" long X 10" wide X 2 3/4" high (if you expand the specifications in the ad, all three dimensions are listed). I chose medium since all four in the set almost perfectly filled the inside of my carry-on. Worked very well for me on a recent trip.
Question:	What is the point of these bags? Dont they take up more room in a suitcase
Answer:	I spend 150 nights+ a year in hotels. Cubes are a lifesaver. You can pack more into a suitcase with them , and TSA can go through your bag without fondling your clothes. Once at your destination, move the cubes from case to drawers and you' unpacked.
