Answer:	not in my case. I am actually going to replace it with another one where the weight stays on. Maybe there is a trick, but I tried, read instructions and could not find a way to keep the weight reading on, which is quite useful with heavy luggage

Answer:	just lift the bag with the scale. I did notice that one reviewer mentioned the handle on the scale was too small but I haven't had that problem. The only problem I could foresee is if the hook was too small for the handle of the bag you're trying to weigh in which case I would use a short strap around the handle.
Question:	How precise is this scale in the range under 2lb/1kg
Answer:	I tested it using canned food products with labeled weights - it would randomly vary 1 to 3 oz. more or less than the indicated weight. There didn't seem to be any consistency that I could rely on; i.e., if the product weighed 16 oz., it would weigh more one time and less the next time I weighed it.

Answer:	Well that depends on what type of fish you're talking about and if it's a saltwater or freshwater fish. For freshwater for Bass 90% of the ones I've caught have been on rubber worms, mostly from Culprit Brand, the others from live bait. For Catfish you can't beat fresh dead minnows or shiners. Bluegill and Brim bread or homemade dough-balls work the best. Now let's talk about hooking the fish, the most important thing is to make sure your fishing line is taught meaning NO SLACK in the line another thing is you don't want to wait to long to set the hook because you run the chance of "gut hooking" the fish and killing it. For bigger fish like Bass and Catfish once you feel the fish pulling on the line, have your rod tip pointed around 10 o clock or 2 o clock and in one Quick motion jerk/pull the rod back hard to the 12 o clock position setting the hook. Now all you have to do is reel him in.

In fact, this is the new version luggage scale and the overweight warning is a new function for it. In the meantime, the default setting of the overweight warning is 50lbs. You are able to change it by following steps. (a) Turn on the scale. (b) Long press the right button until the screen display "S" (c) Press the left or right button to increase or reduce the overload warning weight. Answer:	The answers below are correct. It displays lbs in decimals. What wasn't shared was how helpful this product is. It has always matched the weigh in at the counter within 3 decimals. It can be trusted. My wife and I are off to Cuba. We are only allowed a total of 44 lbs that includes the carry on. So far we have each suitcase weighing in at 26 and 28 lbs respectively. I'll use up the remaining lbs with a few more items in the suitcase and dedicating the camera, cam cord, chargers, convertor and adaptors, ad travel paperwork (all heavier items relatively) to the carry on. For this trip, I will depend on and trust the Camry Electronic Luggage Scale as I have for my last 3 trips to South Africa, Egypt, and Patagonia. It kept me safely underweight each time. I could pack within 1 to 2 lbs on the weight limit and be comfortable I wouldn't exceed the limit. I would not give it up for anything. It is a permanent part of our travel equipment.

Answer:	This model is powered by a 9V battery which is included with the scale. A USB cord is included as well in the box. This USB cord is not for carrying data or connecting to computer programs. The cord can be connected to an adapter and to the scale to preserve the 9V battery. The adapter is not included, however, the USB works with universal adapters. Generally, the battery itself should last over six months, depending on how often you use the scale.

Answer:	The cord is coiled so it stretches. I can easily stretch it to 4 feet and it will stretch even further. I have use it to weigh luggage with the scale on the floor and the display on a table with no problem.

Answer:	7.1oz is equivalent to .44 of a lb. 16 ounces in a pound. so 7/1oz is 0.44. I haven't checked mine but I see on mine an "oz" on the top right - next to where you might find your "44" ... which signifies you are weighing at ounces vs grams, not necessarily that you have 44oz. Look more closely because you may actually have an accurate scale. Hope this helps and not too late of an answer.

Answer:	Unfortunately no, this scale does not measure peak weight. However it does measure the weight very accurately so for example if you are measuring the peak draw weight of a compound bow you would simply pull back slowly through the draw and have someone else watch the scale as you pull and read the peak weight.

Answer:	Both. It will give you readings in pounds and ounces, pounds and tenths, (a little more accurate since it goes to 100ths of a pound). It also gives you Killos to the 100ths also, such as 5.25.Pete

Answer:	I have had it read 1oz. I’m not sure it’s sensitive enough to go lower as i haven’t tried.

Answer:	I use it to weigh luggage and it works great, very accurate. But you don't hold it by hand, that's awkward and heavy and doesn't give you an accurate result. You need to find something to hang the scale from, like a closet rod or second level railing, or hook in ceiling, etc. It's always worked out for me, anywhere I was.

Answer:	It's weight is done in #'s , not gallons, unless you can convert it. To make sure we had an accurate weight for packing, I picked up a 5# bag of sugar and it was 5 #'s on the money.
