Answer:	Not waterproof but I would say resistant. I went to NYC in torrential downpours and anything in the front (receipts) got wet but there it.

Answer:	They are secured by a leather belt type strap. Have to be unbuckled in order to access them. Don't put something like a phone there that you need to get to quickly!

Answer:	The small is 13" long. I have the medium which is 15" long. About 7 inches tall.
