Answer:	If you cut it just use a lighter and melt the end and it will keep it from fraying. I do it all the time. Works great. I like these straps a lot

Answer:	I own a couple sets of these to tie down kayaks on my truck, but I still use front and back safety ties as back up. If I was concerned, I would use a “weight rated” tie down relative to how/what I am using it for.

Question:	Does this luggage have metal, or plastic telescoping handles
Answer:	Yes, I used these to strap down a roof bag, snowboard, and 3 pairs of skis on a Ford Taurus during a two month camping trip with hail, high wind, heat, etc. The only issue is if it rains a lot, like for full days at a time, the water will leak into the car. All we did to fix that, though, was put microfiber cloths at each corner of the tie downs inside the car. Also, we used these to tie tarps around our roof cargo during heavy storms. They are incredibly strong.
