Answer:	No, I don't think so. I have the 24in and just used it for a 6 day trip and it was perfect. Not to big or to small. The 20in would not have worked for me. For the money the 24 is better. But it would probably not work as a carryon.

Although we do use premium self-repairing coil zippers meant for long lasting use, some zippers inevitably still wrap and break with use.
