Question:	what are the dimentions
Answer:	This product's overall dimensions are actually 21.6x14.4x9.2 and allowed carry on dimensions for domestic airlines are 22x14x9. Based on that, it looks like this product violates the carry on requirements. I'm finding that most of the bags advertised on Amazon as carry on luggage only give the bag dimensions and do not reflect overall dimensions including the wheels, which is misleading. Personally, I wouldn't risk spending the money and finding out the hard way that an airline won't accept it as carry on.

Answer:	They absolutely do fit inside of each other. I recently flew back home to get a deseas3ed parent's home cleared out. I knew I might want to bring a few things back with me. I nested a packed smallest one inside the middle one. Flying back I was able to use the middle one for items I brought back.
Question:	How many watermelons will this hold
Answer:	With a 9" width they would need to be very small undersized watermelons not worth transporting or consuming. On the other hand, honeydew, cantaloupe, apples, oranges, peaches, and berries of various types could be transported in good volume and size. For rules on Transportation of these items from country-to-country you will need to contact the various countries and commerce regulations of what is allowed in and out. Answer:	No. Prolonged exposure to testosterone causes the plastic to melt. The wheels lock up if you try to roll them into a men’s room. If you try to pack a necktie, the zippers will not close. Answer:	I see the original post is quite old, but for further questions... I just returned from a International trip where I used 2 of these bags fully loaded with 20 kgs. / 44 lbs. My limit was 50 lbs and neither my domestic carrier nor my international carrier batted an eye at the size. I flew Japan Airline and Co-shared my domestic flight with American Airlines. The ticket counter even joked I had could have carried 6 additional pounds in each bag. On my international flights they weighed the bags all at once. However, if you are on a strict airline that charges for everything, these are over the published sizes and could charge over size fees, but if they are under weight, they may look the other way.

Answer:	My home scale would not weigh the bag alone but when I held it and got on the scale it came in at about 5 pounds. I can't believe it weighs that much though. I can lift it with my little finger. It is the lightest piece of luggage we have which is one reason I like it. The wheels are tucked in under the bag so the capacity of the bag is not reduced by the height of the wheels. That does mean the wheels only go in one direction but you don't lose 2 or more inches of packing space inside the bag. No problem pulling it behind you or pushing in front. Very sturdy.

Question:	How much does the 30" bag weigh empty
Answer:	It's about 12 lbs, so it's fairly heavy. Heavier than I thought it would be. Shipping weight was 12.7 lbs, so subtract a few ounces for the box. Something to consider when airlines limit luggage weight to 50 lbs.
Question:	Does this fold flat and is it waterproof? Taking on sailboat trip
Answer:	You can fold it flat. In fact it was delivered flat. Not sure it is waterproof. But the material does seem waterproof.
Question:	If the most common maximum size checked bag allowed is 62 linear (total) inches, why does the mid sized bag have a 63.5 inches
Answer:	The linear inches is ignored commonly by airline ticket counter reps as they focus on the total weight. Of course there's a limit to large sized bags but agents check 36 inch bags all the time as long as they do not exceed 50 lbs...this 37 inch bag at 50lbs or less should be no problem but likely will not be full at 50lbs so actual size is less...I'm in the industry and know a lot of airline reps...they are focused on weight far more than size...

Answer:	Yes! It’s a very well put together travel bag. My son has been pleased with it. He’s in a dorm and keeps it underneath his bed in collapse just fine.

Answer:	This bag is way too big to fit as a carry on.
Question:	What are the inside dimensions of the 30" bag? hxdxw and is it one compartment inside
Answer:	The bag has two compartments, but it’s has the ability to be one. The layer in between is a mesh compartment that separates the top and bottom half. The bottom half is around 28” long and about 14” wide. The lower compartment is about 5”deep before the upper compartment which is another 6” or so. All in all there is a lot of room in it more than most suitcases the same size.
Question:	Is the 35" version too big to be considered "standard luggage" with an airline
Answer:	Technically at 67" (h+w+d), yes by 2 inches. For most airlines it's 65 inches (h+w+d) and packed weight of 50 pounds. But guessing as long as it remained under 50 pounds in weight, most would not notice the extra 2 inches. (which could disappear if cinched down tight.)

Answer:	Airlines vary with United usually most strict, but they all are near the same. For a checked bag it is 62 linear inches (width+length+height - including wheels and handle). This bag is under the approved airline linear max. I have had no issue with any airlines. Don't forget weight max is usually 50lbs, but some airlines allow up to 70. If you go over weight they will charge extra.
Question:	If i purchase TSA approved locks, could they be used to lock the zippers together
