Answer:	Yes, it collapses and drops into the lower shell portion about 6-7". It also has an internal support that springs into position when partially or completely filled so it will stand on end without falling over. Have not used it yet, but the quality of the material looks robust. My previous Eddie Bauer duffle bag on wheels was indestructible. Gave it to my traveling son and is still in great shape.

Answer:	We have the XL, and it does have a good size outside pocket at the top that you can access while rolling. It is large enough to hold a 24oz. water bottle and a few other things. There are no side pockets, but there is a zip pocket under the top handle of the duffel. It is good to store a few things or quickly tuck away a light jacket without having to get into the main compartment. Great duffel!
Question:	Can you use this as one compartment? We need to carry several pairs of ski boots
Answer:	I usually put my shoes in the bottom and clothes in the top. Only the corners of the bottom are reinforced. You could carry one pair bottom 2 pair in top with clothing. These bags are usually on good for about 10 round trips without putting ski boots in them. If used to carry multiple pairs of ski boots three or four round trips. If you could individually box each pair of boots the bag may last longer. I guess my question is if you like your $300 ski boots. What you need is a SKB Deluxe Standard ATA Golf Travel Case , these are indestructable and can be bought on craigslist. Or place an add on next door

Answer:	The laundry compartment is under the zipper compartment on the interior left panel. The space for laundry can also be used as a regular packing compartment.
Question:	Does this bag fit requirements for overhead in Europe
Answer:	I measure a height, with wheels and handle, of a smidgen under 22" and a depth of 9" on the nose. So far, so food, as regards the common 22x14x9 limit. The problem is with the width. The item is designed to sit on its side as well as on its wheels, with 4 feet on one side and a handle on the other. Including those feet and handle, I measure the width as 15.2". Not including the side handles and and feet, and also not including the band (for the zipper) around the middle of the sides, I measure the width as 14". Not sure whether I want to risk trying to carry it onto a United flight. (Seems nicely made, except for a somewhat wobbly pull-up handle.)

Answer:	My trip was for 10 days in Italy. Temperature was in the low to mid 70's.Took 3 pairs of shoes; 5 pairs of slacks; 1 dress; 1 skirt; 3 pairs of pajamas; 8-10 tops; 4 scarves; ample undies, socks etc. Used packing cubes for everything plus all the zippered pockets in the suitcase. Did not pack toiletries in it though--since I was using a small carry on bag for snacks and wanted to use toiletries to freshen up. I am sure I have something out but everything fit. It is everything it says it is.

Answer:	I would say water resistant but it is hardsided all around no cloth - if I get caught in rain water tends to just kind of roll off it doesn't get inside.

Answer:	When I bought this there was no app. It was finger print only. There is another question that was answered about this by the seller on March 8 2020. They said that it was fingerprint only. Unless something has changed, the app will not work because there is no Bluetooth on the lock.
